This chocolate is elaborated on base of wild growing cacao
beans in combination with Locoto hot pepper powder.
The Locoto (Capsicum pubescens), is the most popular hot pepper in Bolivia.It is originally from Quechua languaje "lugutu or rukutu". Its origin dates back to 5000 years ago in the pre-Inca period. Actually is cultivated at the valleys of Bolivia.
Our cacao beans are the result of a natural process, happening exclusively in the Amazon rainforest without any human intervention, thus it is Wild.
It is hand picked and fermented by the natives within a frame of respect to their milenary culture, sundried in the forest and processed by our company, with plenty of passion and strict CSR criteria.
